First things first... Why should you care?

Our emotional state dictates the quality of our life. The 30 Days of Positivity Challenge is a daily personal challenge designed to condition the mind and body to maintain a positive emotional state. Our mindset contributes to 80% of our success. So, this challenge forces you to reprogram your mindset for success. When we're in a good mood and have a positive mindset, the probability of us being more productive, having better relationships, and making more money goes up. On the other hand, when we're in a bad mood and have a negative mindset, the opposite tends to occur.

Imagine living in a mansion but you're always upset, stressed, anxious, or sad. On the other hand, imagine living in a townhouse but you're always peaceful and happy. Your quality of life has everything to do with how you feel about yourself and the world around you. Your focus becomes your future. So, focus on nurturing a positive emotional state. Our feelings give us clues about the state of our emotions and environment, and tell us if we're progressing in the right direction. Progress equals growth. This challenge helps you to grow positive feelings to attract positive people and things into your life.

Let's get started with today's challenge!

Let's Get To The Point

Have you ever heard of the say, "Knowledge is power"? Well, it's true. The more you learn the more you empower yourself to become more successful. Donnie Thomas:

Hey everybody. So today is Day Six of my 30 days of Positivity Challenge. And today I just wanted to say the education requires maintenance in order to remain relevant. And I want to let that sink in because there are different schools of thought around education. There are those who believe that education is very important to them. There are those that don't believe that education is important. They don't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money in order to get a degree, or they don't want to spend the time that it takes notice to edify themselves on various topics because they don't find it valuable.

Donnie Thomas:

But what I will say is that life is always changing. Life is always evolving. Strategies are always changing and evolving. So for anybody, including myself, to think that the knowledge or the certificate or the degree that you got however many years ago is still going to remain completely relevant in today's or in future times is a fallacy. Parts of it will definitely remain relevant. Part of that education was very instrumental in rearing you and in shaping you into the individual that you are today, but you can't stop growing. You can't stop evolving.

Donnie Thomas:

It's like a car. It's like a car that you drive off of the lot. And the minute you drive that car off of that lot, the value decreases. The value decreases and the value decreases because there's always new. There's always better. There's always more being developed of that same thing. Not to say that education isn't valuable in and of itself, it's supplemental, but you have to continue to get your education in order to stretch your mind, your mental muscle, because things are always changing.

Donnie Thomas:

So never stop growing, never stop challenging yourself, never stop pushing yourself to be the best mentally that you can be. Whether or not it's going back to school to get that degree, whether or not it's going onto YouTube searching how-to videos in order to get stuff done around the house or whether or not it's just getting that trade, that trade that you always wanted to get. Go get yours. Never stop growing, never stopped stretching, and never stop evolving. Peace.
